YYR (Goose Bay, NL)

Goose Bay! 

Goose, as it is locally called is the largest town in Labrador. It is situated on the coast of Lake Melville and the Churchill River. Goose is a pivotal staging point for aircraft during war time. NASA space shuttle Enterprise landed here for refueling enroute to Europe. YYR and the community have accommodated numerous avaitaion emergencies and passangers over the years making it super significant in avaiation history and safety.
